The Technology
Patented lamination, built into the fiber.
Cirkla's patented lamination process bonds a multi-layer barrier liner directly to the fiber substrate during manufacturing. The barrier becomes part of the structure, delivering the oxygen, moisture, and gas-flush performance that MAP-grade fresh protein and vacuum skin packaging require.
Why Cirkla
Eight reasons to switch to Cirkla.
Up to 80% reduction in plastic waste
Made with plant fibers without performance trade-off
Plug-&-play with zero capex
No line modifications, no new equipment
High-barrier liner
OTR < 0.5 cc/m²/day · WVTR < 0.5 g/m²/day
Recyclable plant-fiber trays
How2Recycle Certified

Equipment
Runs on the lines you already own.
Validated on five platforms covering the majority of the US protein processor installed base. No tooling modifications. No line speed reduction. Denesting performance validated in production, not just static testing.
If your line isn't listed, contact us - we're continuously adding equipment coverage.
Product Range
20+ SKUs across #3, #5, #9, and #10 tray formats.
The Economics
In EPR states, fiber is cheaper than plastic.
Extended Producer Responsibility fees are live in Oregon and Colorado. California, Maine, Maryland, and Minnesota follow. Plastic trays carry a fee roughly 3× higher than Cirkla's - and that gap widens as more states go live.
